He moved from St. Louis to New York when he was 25 years old. He worked as a journalist at CBS, establishing a well respected career, before creating low brow programming for Bravo. The Real Housewives franchise is Cohen's brain child, as well as Million Dollar Listing, Top Chef and more.
Andrew Cohen majored in Broadcast journalism at Boston University. Serving as senior producer of "The Early Show," Andy was making a salary of $110,000 a year. Not bad!
In 2002, Andy was hired to rebrand the Bravo network. He focused on pop culture and reality shows instead of film, arts and adult content. Cohen's initial salary was $350,000 plus bonuses and incentives based upon the network's ratings.
In 2010, Andy launched his "Watch What Happens Live" talk show. His guests reveal all to the personable host. Andy's interview excerpts tend to make headline news at least a few times each month. He's penned his first book, "Most Talkative," and is currently working on a second book.
Andrew allegedly has a new show in the works called "I Slept With a Celebrity," which sounds AMAZING! I just don't know how these celebs won't be filing lawsuits because of the salacious revelations.
