Jamie Lynn Spears Bio

Jamie Lynn Spears was born on April 4, 1991 in McComb, Mississippi. Jamie Lynn is Britney Spears little sister who used to work as an actress on television but has been spending most of her time raising her daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge, breaking up with her baby daddy and getting married.
Jamie was once a star on the popular Teen Nick show Zoey 101. She was continuing her entertainment career and reestablishing her name in the limelight but her world came crumbling down after she got knocked up.

After gaining much scrutiny and publicity when news broke in a 2007 OK! magazine that she was 16 and pregnant with her live-in boyfriend at the time,Casey Aldridge's baby, Brit's younger sister's career came to a halt. Between the years of discovering that she became pregnant and raising her daughter Maddie Briann through an unstable relationship, Jamie Lynn was focused on putting her life back together.

From legal woes with now ex-boyfriend Casey Aldridge to reconstructing her life post-controversies, Jamie Lynn began to spend more time pursuing music. She was focused on re-emerging as a country singer. In November of 2013, JL released her single “How could I want More”.

Despite her fans supporting her country single, the song did not land on the Billboard Hot 100. Spears’ single did reach the no. 18 slot on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 singles list. Besides making an appearance in Britney Spes’ music, Jamie Lynn is slowly regaining a positive image in Hollywood. After stably entering into the music scene, Spears’ love life began to blossom. In 2013, Jamie began dating businessman Jamie Watson. Watson is the owner of the communications company Advanced Media Partners. The two were not stable for two years but were quick to announce their engagement to the public in March 2013. One year later, Spears and Watson married in New Orleans on March 14th.  After battling ups and downs along with public scrutiny, Spears provides a perfect example of letting fans know that youthful mistakes from the past do not make up an individual.
