Nat has many other talents. He is a musician who plays the guitar, keyboard, sings, writes and composes music. Wolff wrote music for "The Naked Brothers Band," a Nickelodeon show. Matt comes from a musical family. His father, Michael Wolff, is a Jewish jazz pianist. In 2011, Nat and his younger brother Alex released an album called Black Sheep.
Alex's mother is an actress named Polly Draper. Matt's paternal grandfather is a venture capitalist. Wolff was taught about Jewish culture as a child and raised to "have respect for Jewish traditions." Nat was raised in New York and the 6'1 star would play basketball.
A musical prodigy, Nat taught himself how to play major and minor chords on the piano when he was 4 years old. A benefit concert that he raised for victims of 9/11 raised more than $46,000 and was donated to the children of New York City Fire Department's Squad 18. Matt's first break came when he acted in "Getting Into Heaven," an off-Broadway play, in 2003. In 2004, Nat had a role in a second play, Heartbeat to Baghdad.
Matt's single "Crazy Car" peaked at the no. 23 spot on the Top 200 Billboard Charts. Surprisingly, Nat was still a child when he wrote the song. Wolff was 6 years old at the time and he remains the youngest person to compose a charting song on the Top 200 Billboard Charts. Nat has several movies in the works. His upcoming movie, Behaving Badly, co-stars Selena Gomez and has already received a lot of buzz. Matt's height, youthful and calm looking face make him a very marketable contender in Hollywood.
