Keke Palmer Bio

Keke Palmer, real name Lauren Keyana Palmer, was born August 26, 1993 in Harvey, Illinois. At 20 years young, Keke Palmer is the youngest person ever to land a talk show. Just Keke airs on BET. Palmer is more than just a talk show host, before her latest gig, she was an actress, failed singer, dancer and entrepreneur.

Keke grew up in the business. Her parents, Larry and Sharon, met in drama school and are professional actors. After Keke appeared in her first movie, the Palmers backed up and left the East Coast to pursue acting full-time in California. Keke's stage show performance in Chicago put her on the map. She first appeared in Barbershop 2: Back in Business, which was released in 2004.

In 2006, she played the little girl in Akeelah and the Bee. One year later, on September 18, 2007, the talk show host dropped her debut album, So Uncool, through Atlantic Records. Her album failed to top the charts but did get recognition.

2012 is the year that Keke was working her booty off. She starred in an astonishing four films that year:  Joyful Noise, Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom, Ice Age: Continental Drift and Virgin Mary. As for television films, Palmer has also starred in Knights of the South Bronx (2005), and Jump In! (2007). It was Keke's weak performance as Chili in Vh1's TLC biopic that makes me question if she has any talent at all. Just saying.

Back to Keke, she had the lead role in True Jackson, VP, a Nickelodeon sitcom. Surprisingly, she was making stacks as a child! Palmer was compensated with $20,000 for each and every episode she filmed, which makes her the fourth highest-paid child star on TV. And because so many celebrities without fashion degrees or training feel entitled to release a line, Keke's fashion line hit Walmart stores in July 2009.

She has also been cast to play the lead role in Animal. She even wrote and performed the movie's theme song. Animal is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2014. On June 30, 2014, Palmer’s daytime talk show on BET called Just Keke had premiered. She's currently working on a new album. No one can say that Keke isn't ambitious!

Taylor Schilling Bio

Taylor Schilling is an American actress born July 27, 1984 in Boston, Massachusetts. As a child, while growing up, Schilling spent most of her time in West Roxbury and Wayland to spend time with each parent.

Schilling is best known for her role as Piper Chapman in the widely popular Netflix series, Orange Is the New Black. For Orange Is the New Black, Schilling won the Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy. 

When she was in middle school she joined the theater program and appeared in a stage production of Fiddler on the Roof. Her time at Fordham University’s campus at Lincoln Center gave her the opportunity to take part in stage productions. In 2006, Schilling graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

She then went on to the graduate program at New York University to continue her acting studies, but soon left to begin auditioning.  Taylor even worked as a nanny for a Manhattan-based family to support herself for a while to begin her career. When she read for the part of Veronica Flanagan Callahan in Mercy via videotape, she had “blown the doors off the audition,” as the show’s creator and executive producer Liz Heldens said. Soon after that, Schilling began to work on Orange Is the New Black, which is currently airing.

She was then sent to Los Angeles to audition for the role. However, the show had only run for one season from September 2009 to May 2010

The blonde Katy Perry lookalike made her first film debut in Dark Matter (2007). In the NBC medical drama Mercy, Schilling played the role of Veronica Flanagan Callahan. Schilling began to act at a young age. She was a fan of the NBC medical drama ER, which might have sparked her interest to act.

Sarah Hyland Bio

Sarah Hyland is the chubby cheeks actress on Modern Family who was born on November 24, 1990 in Manhattan, New York. Sarah Hyland began her acting career as a child but it wasn't until she joined Modern Family in 2009 that she became famous.

Hyland, famously recognized for playing Haley Dunphy, is on a program that is a ratings success and picks up coveted awards left and right on a yearly basis. 

This 5'2 beauty has starred in a number of roles as early as the age of five. From a role in NBC's Lipstick Jungle, to Disney's Geek Charming, Hyland has long proved herself since her 1997 debut in Howard Stern's biographical comedy Private Parts.

These days Hyland continues to shine in the media from all angles of her life. During 2012, Sarah's medical scare was publicized as she revealed that she had been a long time sufferer of kidney dysplasia. Kidney dysplasia, also referred to as multicystic dysplastic kidney, occurs if there are problems with the kidney while they develop and cysts begin to grow in the place where the normal kidney tissue would be.

In this case, sufferers of this illness usually have one affected kidney. Luckily, in 2012, Ms. Hyland underwent a kidney transplant for kidney dysplasia. Her loving father, Edward James Hyland, was found to have a matching kidney therefore he acted as the donor. In a candid interview with Seventeen Magazine, Hyland shared her story about her life long struggle. Today her career continues to thrive, but she hasn't forgotten the little guy. She is active in a number of charities and continues to make viewers laugh each week.

Felicity Jones Bio

Felicity Jones is the beautiful actress who occasionally resembles Megan Fox. Jones was born October 17, 1983. Jones grew up in Bournville, United Kingdom.

The English actress is famous for playing Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch and the sequel, Weirdsister College. Felicity's father was a journalist and her mum worked in advertising. When Jones was only 3 years old, her parents got divorced and she grew up with her brother and single mother. 

During high school, the ambitious star studied English and acted in plays including Attis, The Comedy of Errors by Shakespeare and more. Felicity was actually talented enough to take her performance on a summer tour in  Japan.

Felicity partially owes her thriving acting career to her uncle, Michael Hadley. Michael told her to pursue acting, so when she was 11 years old, she began acting in an after-school workshop. Jones' most popular role was in the BBC Radio 4 soap opera The Archers for which she played Emma Carter.

She continued to star in BBC dramas and other TV projects.  Her skill didn't go unnoticed. She won a Special Jury Prize award at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. She did her own hair and makeup for the film and her dialogue was completely improvised! No pressure.

Felicity also received the Best New Hollywood Award in 2011. That same year she studied snowboarding for two months for her role in Chalet Girl. For her role in Luise Miller, she lived with a Catholic famility and attended Mass to prepare for the role. The tall actress has also posed for Burbery and Dolce & Gabbana.

Co-starring in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also helped her career. But she doesn't exclusively work on movie sets. Felicity played Dot on  HBO's "Girls." She works hard and is versatile. Luckily she has a supportive boyfriend to go home to, literally. She lives in Bethal Green in London's East End with her man Ed Fornieles. The longtime couple met at Oxford University.

Allison Williams Bio

Allison Williams is an American actress, musician and comedian. Allison Williams was born April 13, 1988 in Hartford, Connecticut.  The daughter of Brian Williams,  NBC's Nightly News anchor had a passion for performing and initially wanted to be mostly involved with musical theater, but later her love of acting took over. She is most known for her role as Marnie Michaels for the HBO series, Girls.

She's the daughter of Brian Williams and Jane Gillan Stoddard, a TV producer, which doesn't exactly hurt considering that Hollywood thrives on nepotism. Because she was raised in a wealthy family, Williams attended Yale University, which she probably didn't have to spend a dime paying for or obtaining student loans for. 

While attending her prestigious university, Allie and was involved with the improvisational comedy troupe, Just Add Water and was in a YouTube web series called College Musical. While still an undergraduate at Yale University, Williams managed to get five million views on a YouTube video she made for her cover of Ke$ha’s song “Tik Tok”. In 2010, the skinny star graduated from Yale University with a BA in English.

One of Williams' most interesting roles has been starring as Kate Middletown, the Duchess of Cambridge, in her video series called Will & Kate: Before Happily Ever After, which is from her series called Funny or Die. One of her YouTube videos called “Nature Boy” with lyrics by Nat King Cole to the Mad Man theme song gave her widespread fame as she performed it, which then later convinced producer Judd Apatow that she should audition for the HBO series Girls and play as Marnie.

The 23 year-old auditioned for the role of Marnie and got the part. The show premiered in 2012. While filming the pilot for Girls, Williams met her fiancé Ricky Van Veen. Her passion for performing is slowly dying out as she said she would quit the business to have kids. We wouldn't mind if she did. Her acting skills are horrific!

Dakota Johnson Bio

Dakota Johnson was born on October 4, 1989 in Austin, Texas. Her parents are Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, which is what Hollywood is all about - nepotism.

Dakota is an American actress and model. Johnson is most known for her role in Fox’s sitcom Ben and Kate (2012-2013). Johnson is also known for her appearances in various films such as The Social Network (2010).

None of Dakota's small roles could possibly prepare her for what could be the role of a lifetime for the young star. Johnson will be playing the role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey, which will be released on February 14th of next year. Many actresses auditioned for the coveted role alongside Jamie Dornan. Dakota says the key to playing her character, which will be nude in the film, is that she has no shame. Hey, whatever works!

Johnson has also  been cast to play the role of Imogen in William Shakespeare’s Cymbeline. In addition to all these films, Johnson will also be appearing in Black Mass (2015). Johnson was an avid dancer as a child.

In 1999, Dakota made her film debut in Crazy in Alabama. Johnson and her half-sister Stella Banderas played the daughters to their real-life mother, Melanie Griffiths. Crazy in Alabama was directed by Johnson’s stepfather, Antonio Banderas. At age 12, Johnson attended a photoshoot with other children of celebrities for Teen Vogue and became interested in becoming a model.

In 2006, Johnson was voted Miss Golden Globe when she served as the first second-generation Miss Golden Globe in the Globe’s history1 Johnson’s mother, Melanie, was Miss Golden Globe in 1975. Also in 2006, Johnson signed with IMG Models. Three years later, Dakota modeled for MANGO brand’s jeans line.

 In 2011, Johnson shot the “Rising Star” campaign for Australian fashion label “Wish”. When Johnson graduated from high school, she signed with the William Morris Agency and began her acting career. In March 2012, she played Kate in the Fox comedy series Ben and Kate. The show was cancelled after one season. Then Johnson went on to appear in other films such as Need for Speed (2014). Johnson is  currently in a relationship with actor Jordan Masterson. Makes you wonder if she learned any tricks from 50 Shades that she brought to the bedroom?
